EyeFi Card takes a common and, it would seem, relatively easy everyday task of camera-to-laptop file transfer to a whole new level of simplicity. The files are transferred wirelessly to your laptop; the SD card does not have to be taken out of the camera. The camera can be of any type, as long as it accepts SD format.

The SD card has a built-in wireless module inside that communicates with the laptop via a USB card reader. The software that goes with the card can also upload the images to most Picasa/flickr style photo-sharing websites.
