No, there is nothing exciting about printers. Apart from the HP Photosmart Premium that connects directly to the Internet. The ability to get Google map directions using the printer’s 4″ LCD is the reason for existing.

Speaking of the applications, the Photosmart Premium will include several preloaded apps like Nickelodeon, Weather News and Google, plus people can download new ones as they become available. The printer will come with an open API, what will let developers create their own widgets.
HP is convinced this device will “revolutionize” and “change the way people think about printing.”
